Darrel and Bonnie Clowers are IPHC missionaries to the Dominican Republic. They are leading our Haiti disaster relief efforts, and they sent additional information today concerning the plan to assist Haitian communities.

First, the Clowers continue to coordinate flights of emergency relief supplies into Haiti. Food, water, medicine, and other supplies are being purchased in the Dominican Republic, and the supplies are flown directly to our Haitian church leaders in Port-au-Prince for distribution. The supplies are distributed to people staying at the IPHC ministry complex in northwest Port-au-Prince, which is located in a neighborhood that was severely damaged.

Since Matt Bennett reports that he saw no other aid distributed in this area, People to People desires to keep sending supplies. Cash donations to People to People's Haiti relief fund allow our the Clowers to purchase these supplies, and the direct flights into Haiti provided for free by Agape Flights. It costs over $2000 to fill a plane with supplies, so churches are urged to donate generously to People to People's disaster relief fund.

In addition to emergency supplies, the IPHC will work to rebuild Haitian churches and communities. We will follow a three-phase strategy.

1. Repairing the Compound to House Teams
   There is a 200 yard breach in the perimeter wall. The back wall is leaning, but is possible that it may
   all. So, we are trying purchase cement and have our Haitian brothers repair this wall. The plumbing a and electrical are in disarray and a small team is doing that repair. They will fix the showers, toilets and electrical problems.

2. Providing needed items
   Cartain items are difficult or extremely expensive to purchase in Haiti and the Dominican Republic. Thus, we plan to ship the following to Haiti as soon as possible:

   • Shipping Containers
   • 2 Distribution Vehicles – Rugged and off-Road Trucks
   • Bull Dozer
   • Back Hoe
   • Cement Mixer
   • 4 Portable Generators Honda EU2000i
   • 2 Larger Generators At least 6500 watts
   • Water Purifications Systems
   • Tools - Shovels, Pick Axes, Sledge Hammers, Wheel Barrels
   • 28 – 32 Extension ladders
   • PVC Pipes and Fittings

   We also need the following medical supplies or money to purchase them:

   • Vitamins for Adults and Children
   • Wheel Chairs
   • Crutches
   • Braces
   • Hypertension Medicines
   • Diabetes Medicines

   • o General Clinic Needs
   • o Over the Counter Medicines.
